Testimonial - from Japan! (spoiler - this mom LOVED BabyPlus!)

Tuesday, May 8, 2012 by Cindy Wallander

*Very Fortunate to have learned about BabyPlus  (A. M, Tokyo)

My daughter is 2 years and 3 months now.  After I found out I was pregnant, I researched Taikyo (prenatal education) on the internet and came across BabyPlus.  It was unknown in Japan with virtually no appearance in pregnancy magazines and other media yet, but I felt like "betting" on this product.

I followed the manual strictly and gave lessons every single day without fail until the day of birth, even when I went out of town!  Knowing how challenging life will be after birth, I really wanted to give my baby the best Taikyo possible so that we can have a good start together.   However, ever since birth, I honestly can't think of a single occasion where I felt child rearing is hard....

My daughter was very strong at birth, latching on strongly, sleeping really well and gaining weight steadily.  To this day, I never had to "put her to sleep" at bedtime !!

She never gives me trouble by waking up in the middle of the night.  None of my friends with babies can believe how easy I have it! Every time they visit me, they are astounded by the fact that my daughter doesn't require anything from me to fall asleep.

At 3 months, we took a vacation for a week.  She never fussed on the 6 hour trip.  I was amazed at "how easy traveling with a baby is".  Ever since, we took many trips by planes, taking advantage of the fact that she's never  uncomfortable in new environments or meeting new people.

Terrible two is a common notion, but we have no idea what it represents.  When she passed the age 2, she had her share of assertiveness, but never fusses or has temper tantrums.

My daughter has always been very calm and has been able to soothe and handle her own feelings quickly even if she doesn't get what she wants.  Now that we can communicate with each other, it is becoming more and more fun to be with her.  I am really enjoying her growth.

I feel very grateful I encountered BabyPlus and accomplished the great Taikyo using BabyPlusBabyPlus gave my daughter a very special treasure she can cherish for the rest of her life.

Thank you and Bravo, BabyPlus!!

FacebookSince you're probably already on Facebook, why not join our page too? A few months ago we gave you several reasons why you should join our Facebook page. We're hear to tell you what our BabyPlus Facebook page can do for you!

You might read a few BabyPlus testimonials on our blog or website, but what you might not see are the hundreds of BabyPlus parents interacting on our Facebook page everyday. Hear about their pregnancy and BabyPlus stories. They are happy to share their thoughts and experiences with you. Here are a postings that parents left on our wall this past week:

Congrats to the expecting moms! I used BabyPlus with both of my babies (my daughter is 28 months this month and my son will be 5 months in a few days)...they are both wonderful sleepers, great at nursing and can self-soothe fairly well. Good luck to you both!!

You'll love BabyPlus. I am in my second pregnancy, she is due Nov 22. I used BabyPlus with both of my daughters. My BabyPlus toddler was an amazing sleeper, great eater, she easily self-soothed and wasn't nearly as fussy & needy as I have seen her friends be. When she entered Pre-K2 last year they moved her up to Pre-K3....Wait till you see the difference!

I have used BabyPlus for both of my children. My daughter is 28 months and my son is 5 months. Both have excellent hearing. As a matter of fact, my daughter, can hear so well that she tells me when an alarm might be going off, that I can't even hear. (I have an alarm that I can't seem to fix so I have the volume very low...she hears it in our back room while we are in the living room!). My son is so attuned to sounds that he will move his head so quickly just to try to find out where the sound is coming from! And, as far as sleep...well, honestly, I thank BabyPlus for how wonderful my children sleep. My daughter has slept through the night (11-12 hours) since 4 months and my son sleeps 10-11 hours through the night since the start of his fourth month. They are both regular nappers and do quite well falling asleep on their own. My daughter is more self-soothing than my son, however, my son still self-soothes, just like my daughter. He is still pretty quick though to put himself to sleep once he realizes he isn't going to be picked up. I have recommended BabyPlus to several of my family and friends and those who have used it, have nothing but positive reviews. I would recommend this product to you and anyone else who wants to give their children a great head start in life, even before they are born! Good luck to you!

I used BabyPlus with my first pregnancy and my son was born at 32 weeks, the day he was born (even though early) he was able to lift and turn his head from side to side from his belly in the incubator. He is now almost 4 and is very smart plus he has a great since of direction.

Top Ten Ways to Keep Baby Safe

Tuesday, September 13, 2011 by Cindy Wallander
We like the article titled "The Parenting Corner: Top 10 Ways to Keep Baby Safe" on the picture source: completesafetyconcepts.compatch.com. written by Heather Kempskie.

We all know baby safety comes first, and most of us think we know how to keep baby safe.  However, here is a comprehensive list:

1.    Follow car safety rules.
2.    Buy new baby equipment.
3.    Make sure baby is in a safe place if not being held.
4.    Use safety gates.
5.    Examine your home from a baby’s point of view.
6.    Don't try to cook while holding a baby.
7.    Keep small stuff put away.
8.    Create a safe sleeping environment for baby.
9.    Visit pediatrician for well baby visits.
10.  Buckle up (not just in car seats - also in strollers, swings and other moveable playthings).

Did any of these surprise you?  Cooking was the one that caught my attention - but it makes so much sense!

Are there any other ways to keep baby safe that are not on this list?

"Dear BabyPlus-

Wonderful product!I’m writing about to you in regards to your wonderful product! I So glad I am a BabyPlus mom!am so glad I choose to be a BabyPlus mom.

I started using the system when I was around 20 weeks pregnant. I received it as a gift from my mother. I had learned about the product through a friend. My friend had come over for a girls night out and had her then 4 month old daughter with her. You would never know there was a baby in the room, she was so good. I asked her what her secret was- and lo and behold she told me that she had used BabyPlus. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I was researching the product and had to get my hands on one.

My son was born at 39 weeks via c-section in February 2009. When they pulled him out, his eyes were open and he didn’t cry. I thought something was wrong (because I couldn’t see this of course), and my husband went to check on him. Turns out he was just awake and He was happy!“happy”. My OB remarked about how alert he was and how he had never seen such a thing. Between the delivery and waiting to see him in the recovery room, we probably waited about ½ hour. Once they let me hold him, he did the crawl up to my chest and tried latching. It was incredible! I had Our son at only two days old - look at his strong neck!heard this probably wouldn’t be the case since I had the section and he would not see me (skin to skin) until I was in the recovery room. He was a great baby right from day 1. He ate well, slept well (about 3 hours at a stretch). When awake he was alert- we even have a picture of him on day 2 holding up his own head. By about 3 weeks old, he was sleeping longer. By 8 weeks old he had rolled over from belly to back and was sleeping about 7-8 hours at night. By 12 weeks he rolled over back to belly, was blowing raspberries, and holding his own bottle. At 5 months he was sitting up on his own, 6 months he was crawling. At 9 months he took his first steps and was fully walking by 11 months. Around the same time he also started learning sign language.  He is 18 months old now and has at least a 200 word vocabulary and just started putting together 3 word sentences. His love of books and reading is wonderful. He can count to 13, knows most colors and can spell his name. He has been following very descriptive directions (“Go get the red ball that is on the ground next to your table, and bring it back to me.”) for months now, as well as sleeping 11-12 hours at night with a 1-2 hour nap during the day. He has always been a great eater as well. We (on his own doing) just started the very beginnings of potty training. His fine motor skills are on the level of most 3 year olds. Time and time again, when we are out in public people come up to us and tell us what a content, remarkable little boy he must be, and mind you, this is just by looking at him. Going to his pediatrician appointments is always a trip, because the doctor will ask “is he doing this?”, “is he doing that?”, and my son has always been about 3 months ahead of the game. His one doctor actually called him a genius- I got such a kick of that one! We have been so lucky to have such an exceptional little boy for our first child, we We have been so lucky!feel spoiled. Since he is so engaged and interested in so many things, we are able to bring him anywhere… just to see him interact and the joy he gets from watching and learning new things is the best feeling in the world.

We feel so blessed and hope that he gets the same love and joy from us and his surroundings as we do!

We feel that the our son’s development thus far is due in part to using the BabyPlus system. I have recommended it in the past to anyone that I know that is pregnant, and will continue to do so. I hope I get the chance one day to use it for another baby! Thank you!

Sincerely,

DM

Another satisfied BabyPlus Mommy - and a very proud Aunt!

Friday, August 13, 2010 by Cindy Wallander
I was so lucky recently to spend some time with a BabyPlus Mommy and a very proud Aunt - these two gals just couldn't tell me enough about this adorable 15 month old boy...

In their own words:

Many BabyPlus parents recommend BabyPlus to a friend!"He slept through the night at two weeks.  He can answer "What does a cow say?" "Moo"  He is easy going and has met or exceeded every milestone so far.  He knows sign language -  food, more, please, thank you, dog, milk... He already says mommy, daddy, more, please, down, doggy.  If I say "Go get your shoes"  he will go get them and sit down.

He began walking at ten months.  He is now putting Friends and family members rave about BabyPlus! words together into short sentences like more please and down doggy.  He has always been easy going and not much of a crier.  When he was 11 months old we took a plane to California.  He fell asleep at take off and woke up when plane landed both ways.

He eats well.  He knows where his raisins are in the pantry and will walk in, get his raisins, then get his bowl and hand both to his mom.  We tell him the dog is sleeping and make the shhh sound, so now when the dog is sleeping he makes the shhhh sound."

I had such a great time with these two gals, and I can't wait to watch him as he grows.  He is darling!

"I don’t think buying this is about trying to make your baby a genius but if you are interested in giving your baby a bit of a headstart, surely it’s worth a go...."

BabyPlus is used all over the world! These are the words of a UK BabyPlus "mum"

"I was recommended BabyPlus by a friend who used it during her two pregnancies and raved about it. To be perfectly honest I was skeptical but after reading up on it decided that it couldn’t do any harm so thought that I had nothing to lose. I began using it at 18 weeks of pregnancy as the manufacturer recommends for an hour in the morning (I set the alarm an hour earlier to put it on in bed!!) and an hour after work. I soon grew to love this time as it was a part of the day that I could really focus on the pregnancy and the baby. At about week 20, the baby started to kick and soon would move and squirm during our `sessions’ which was wonderful so if nothing else I felt that I was really bonding with the baby. I wasn’t religious in using it and missed the odd lesson but fit them in whenever I could.

My baby arrived on his due date and at birth his eyes were wide open and he was alert observing his surroundings. He latched on fairly easily straight away and has been a good feeder ever since. His sleeping patterns were fairly sociable from the off and he slept through the night from about 3 months which I believe is unusual! He is developing well and I get many comments about how he seems advanced for his age. He is my first baby so I don’t know but certainly he seems to be slightly ahead of his buddies of the same age from the antenatal classes.

It’s hard to say whether or not BabyPlus is the reason that our little boy is doing so well but is does seem a coincidence and having convinced other friends of it’s benefits and who have used it they seem to be sharing the same experience. I think that there are many factors that contribute to a happy baby but I would say that if I was to have another child I would certainly use BabyPlus again because I feel it would be unfair not to give my other children the same start. It may be on the pricy side but it is well worth the investment giving the amount of research that is reported to have gone into the product, and certainly my experience is that it does seem to work! If I had another child, I would not want to miss out on giving them the same opportunity.

I don’t think buying this is about trying to make your baby a genius but if you are interested in giving your baby a bit of a headstart, surely it’s worth a go!

There’s lots of useful info on the BabyPlus website about the scientific research which is great if you need a bit more convincing!"

As usual, "our" parents are the very best!

Dear BabyPlus - will I be a good sleeper if my mom uses BabyPlus?

Thursday, May 6, 2010 by Cindy Wallander

The answer is - most likely - YESBabyPlus parents all over the world report that their babies are great sleepers.  BabyPlus babies have the ability to self-soothe.  Just yesterday a BabyPlus mom told us that she can put her daughter in the crib while still awake and her I hope my mommy wants
to know more about BabyPlus!baby will soothe herself to sleep.

If your mom uses the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System during the critical period in prenatal development, she is sure to notice that you will be a good sleeper.

Have your mom click on the picture of the sleeping baby to learn more about using the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System during fetal development - she will learn about learning in the womb and how BabyPlus will impact infant development.

cutest baby ever - a must see!

BabyPlus babies are alert and relaxed! One of the many perks of working the the BabyPlus US main office is the opportunity to see DARLING babies quite often.

We had a 3 month old baby visitor this morning.  She was so content and happy.  She was sleeping when she arrived, and she never made one sound as we passed her around to hold and snuggle.  Her mom told us that she gives her a bottle at 9:00 PM and puts her to bed.  BabyPlus babies are interactive and responsive! She sleeps all the way through the night - every night!  Her mom also said she has to wake her up some mornings because she snoozes until 7:00 AM.

She is also beginning to learn sign language.  Yes - at three months old - sign language!!  We couldn't believe how she would sit up, make eye contact, smile... she was just a great baby.  Oh, and by the way, did I mention that she is a BabyPlus baby???

First-hand experience with BabyPlus Baby

Monday, September 14, 2009 by Shelly Keefe
Hey look! It's my feet!I spent some time over the weekend with my in-laws.  We spent most of the time with my sister-in-law and her family.  It's hard to believe Baby Avery is already three months old!  I know I'm biased but she is absolutely one of the most beautiful babies I've seen.  She's got the cutest little dimple when she grins, which is quite often, and she is the most content baby.  She would lie on her play mat and either take everything in or study her hands.  The only real time she cried was when she was really hungry. Any other time she was fussy, she would find her fist or just wiggle herself to sleep.  What can I say--she's a BabyPlus baby!

I saw a lot of the qualities I hear every day from other BabyPlus families, but after this Thump! Thump! Thump!weekend, I have come to realize even more that Avery is benefiting from my sister-in-law using BabyPlus.  I can't quite put my finger on it but there's just something different.  I knew witnessing first-hand the benefits was going to be fun and exciting but I had no idea how fascinating it was going to be.  She is a little angel but more than once I heard about how someone could not believe what a content baby she was and so alert and aware of her surroundings.

It definitely was not a surprise to me to hear anyone say that!

In the words of a BabyPlus Mom -- "Incredible!"

Monday, November 3, 2008 by Shelly Keefe
We have a wonderful testimonial from a BabyPlus mom.

"I used the BabyPlus system and am so amazed by what its done. Every single thing your site claims that this product does, is dead on! I was in labor for over 12 hours and ended up having an emergency cesarean. My baby girl had to endure all of this stress in the womb and yet once she was born she was bright eyed, lifted her head, pulled the nurses stethoscope and was unbelievably alert. The nurses were amazed by her, so much so they actually sent other nurses in to see her. At a day old she was laying on my chest and started inching her way up my chest towards my neck and nuzzled herself there. I was astonished as was every visitor who saw her. The child barely ever has cried, she is amazingly capable of coping with any change that I put her through. For example, switching from breast to bottle was no problem at all - switching from sleeping in the bassinet next to me to the crib in her own room - not one hiccup with that either, eating solids was also quite easy. She simply adapts to change very well. Every person I meet and even family and friends who have children of their own cannot believe how alert and responsive she is. You can't even imagine how many times I have had people completely shocked when I tell them how old she is because they expect her to be older because of the way she is.

Another thing I hear from family, friends and strangers alike is that they've never seen a baby look at them with such concentration - like she doesn't have that blank look about her that most infants have. She truly interacts with you, smiling back, she will crawl to you if you call her name, she hears us call our dogs name and she immediately looks out for her, she vocalizes back to you when you talk to her, she's simply amazing. I'm actually switching her to the older kids playgroup because she is just that far ahead of reaching milestones as the other kids her age, the teacher agreed completely with me that she's definitely ready.

As far as her milestones go, at about 6 weeks she started rolling over. She had complete head and neck control at 2 months. At 4 months she started "soldier crawling" as we called it and was capable of sitting perfectly fine at 5 months and by 5 1/2 months she started crawling. A week before she turned 6 months, she started pulling herself up on things and can now stand while holding onto something and has started to walk alongside the couch as she holds onto it. She's known her name now for a good month and a half as well (she turned 6 months on Oct. 24, 2008). As I mentioned before, I take her to a playgroup with babies all her age and she is by far the most alert of all of them, most social and the only one that crawl and stand and sit perfectly still. Most of the other babies are just learning to sit or mastering rolling over. I hear of the troubles the moms have with none stop crying and reluctance to bottles and so on and I bless the day I found out about BabyPlus. My husband and I are 100% convinced that she is the way she is because of BabyPlus. At her last doctor's visit, the pediatrician was even shocked at all the milestones she has already conquered. In our doctors words "her motor skills, both large and small are at that of a 10 month baby's level." This is the most amazing thing I have ever had the pleasure of using and will definitely be using it on any future babies we have.

Without any hesitation I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone who is having a baby."

Teachers Love BabyPlus!

Teachers Love BabyPlus!

Here are some comments from a third grade teacher who used BabyPlus... "

After hearing and reading all of the positive things that the research had shown, as a parent and as a teacher, I was anxious, excited, and ready to use Baby Plus.

From the moment my daughter was born, my ob/gyn and the nurses commented on how alert she was…eyes wide open, looking around, and clearly trying to take in everything that this new world had to offer.  She took to nursing right away and it was a wonderful experience.  Sleeping was another thing that amazed me with her.  She was sleeping through the night (11:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.) at eight weeks old.  At one week old, she turned her head from one side to the other.  She rolled over from her belly to her back and back again at an early time.  She said “mama” at the six months old, while looking right at me.  She really began talking around her first birthday, and could put two words together, like “more milk” around 16 months.  As she got older, the things she did continued to amaze me each day.  I started working with letter and number recognition with her at the age of two, and by two and a half, she knew all of her letters.  She could spell her name by herself by the age of two.  She knew all of her colors, shapes, including ones like “oval” and “diamond”. By the age of three, she knew all of her sounds and she could write her first name.  Now, at the age of three and a half, she can spell her first and last name and is now trying to spell words on her own.

I also have an 18 month old daughter with whom I used Baby Plus with as well.  My husband and I are seeing all of the same developments that we did with her older sister.  She took to nursing right away, and was sleeping through the night at seven weeks.  My second daughter began speaking very early, and too, at 16 months, began putting two words together.  Right now, at 18 months, she is trying to count…1, 2, 3, and when she hears her big sis say a letter, she tries to sing the alphabet.  My husband and I are seeing all of the same things we saw developmentally with our first daughter again with our second daughter.

BabyPlus Soothes Very Active Prenatal Baby

Thursday, August 28, 2008 by BabyPlus Sales Team

Just a quick update from your "Feet on the Street".  I was visiting my "high risk pregnancy" friend yesterday and saw something I've NEVER seen before.  She said her baby was very active all the time, but yesterday I saw for myself just what she meant.  We were sitting on her couch talking, and suddenly her dress started moving and flapping around.  At first, I thought it was just her moving, but I saw that her abdomen would push out in several different directions at the same time and it became very obvious that it was actually the baby.  We started laughing about it, and the baby really started moving. If I didn't know that she was in her third trimester, I would have thought she had a puppy under her dress. She said he moved like that a lot, and that she would used BabyPlus when she needed a rest.  She stated that BabyPlus has actually started putting the baby to sleep, so when he becomes so active as to cause her pain, she would bring out BabyPlus.

My friend and I have talked about the benefits of prenatal stimulation, so I'm very happy that she can use the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System to stimulate her prenatal child's development.  Lucky for her, she can also use it to enhance his sleeping schedule as well.

I know my friend will have a smart baby, but I wonder if she's ready for a future Olympic gymnast?

I'll keep you posted!!!

Your "Feet on the Street".

"Your product is great."

Thursday, March 6, 2008 by Cindy Wallander

Another follow up - this is a 2 1/2 year old.

(these are the original comments)

"Your product is great. We have a 21 month old. I used Baby Plus for several months morning and night. Our son came out so alert and ready to take on the world. He nursed well too.  He is ahead of his classmates in some areas and some people think he is 3 years old.

Last night we were sitting in his room and remembered that we used Baby Plus. I had forgotten all about it. We wonder if it is the reason he is such a fun and happy baby."

(these are her current observations)

"He is almost 2 1/2. He can count to 20, knows several letters by site (not memorization).  He even counts up to 10 in Spanish. He knows so many words I can't even count them.  Puts together sentences well and is in the middle of potty training. He sleeps well 5 nights a week. Usually 2 nights he has teething issues or a car wakes him up or something.

He loves to be outside. We hear many times how Reese is advanced. People think he is 4.

My husband wanted me to tell you about how Reese completes sen tenses and has a great memory. He can go somewhere once and then 2 months later we drive by and he points and says what it is. It is incredible."

No matter how many articles parents read about prenatal development, we can never fully know if we are giving our babies the best.  That is why the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System is so beneficial.  You are giving your child a lifelong gift during the critical period in prenatal development.  We have parents who journal about the stages through pregnancy.  Imagine being able to tell your child the amazing gift you gave him/her before she was even born!

Baby Leo

Monday, January 21, 2008 by Shelly Keefe

Hello BabyPlus bloggers! I recently came back from a visit to the U.K. where I saw the first BabyPlus baby within our extended family. My wife, who is from the U.K., has a sister who gave birth four months ago to LEO. Leo's 'Mum' (as they are called in England) used BabyPlus from week 18 right up to birth for an hour twice per day.

It was great to see the results of baby Leo first hand. He is very alert, calm, and a good nurser. He also sleeps very well - seven hours a night.

My sister-in-law is putting it all down to the curriculum. We are all firm believers that child development begins prenatally to three...not 0 to three.

It is amazing just how focused this little miracle is.
