wow - amazing photo of 2 week old newborn

Thursday, September 2, 2010 by Cindy Wallander
A BabyPlus father emailed us regarding what he is seeing in his (darling!) baby.

In his own words:

photo taken by Wonderland Photography"This is a photo of our son.  From week 18 until his birthday on 8/9/10 we used BabyPlus twice daily. He nursed within 30 minutes of being born, appears very alert and can already focus on our faces and turns his head to certain sounds and our voices. The attached photo is our son at 2 weeks of age. I was holding him up under the arms with his head laid back, and all the sudden when the photographer made a sound he lifted his little head up and she snapped this precious shot. His mother and I may be biased but he looks so alert, and inquisitive, like he wants to ask you a question. We can not wait to see what the future holds for our BabyPlus baby. We plan on being pregnant this time next year, and BabyPlus will be a staple of that pregnancy as well. Thank you for a great product."

We agree - he is so alert - and his neck is so strong.  This just affirms why over 250,000+ BabyPlus babies have been born to date all over the world.  Consistently, parents of BabyPlus babies report the benefits of this amazing prenatal curriculum.  BabyPlus parents tell us that their babies are relaxed and alert at birth, nurse well, have an increased ability to self-soothe and are interactive and responsive.

*Photo by Susan MichalShannon Miller used the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System with her first child, and we have been eagerly following his progress ever since his delivery:

"Rocco started crawling a couple weeks ago and every day he is more  active exploring everything and everywhere! We are so blessed to have  such a happy little boy. He loves his sleep and still makes it through the night 12 hours! That certainly helps me recharge and get things done after he goes to bed so I can make the most of my time with him while he is awake. He hasn't found *Photo by Susan Michalanything he doesn't like to  eat....anything.   I am so thankful that I used BabyPlus. I know it's
made a difference and I have to admit it makes me feel good when  people remark on how alert, calm and curious he is. Thank you BabyPlus!"

We see that Shannon Miller's baby Rocco is exhibiting the tangible benefits parents all over the world have come to expect in their BabyPlus babies.

Just take a quick look at these darling twins!

Saturday, August 14, 2010 by Cindy Wallander
I say it all the time - we LOVE LOVE LOVE getting pictures of "our" BabyPlus babies.

The two darlings have a four year old sibling, so this BabyPlus mom knows the benefits of Completely darling, yes????using the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System.

We have many sets of multiples whose parents used BabyPlus during pregnancy.  The feedback we receive from these parents consistently indicates that their babies are exhibiting the tangible benefits of using the BabyPlus curriculum.

"Our" parents of multiples have seen the same benefits (better sleeping, nursing, self soothing, school readiness, etc.) as the mothers of single babies.  Frequently, twins are born early, and the mothers of babies who were not full term have seen amazing results.  We have had mothers of premature babies report that their babies are reaching their milestones based on their birth age, as opposed to gestational age.  They have also reported shorter hospital stays when compared to other premature babies.

BabyPlus is a series of 16 Lessons based on the mother's heartbeat.  Used during the critical period in prenatal development, this innovative prenatal care curriculum will provide your baby (or babies!) with an appropriate amount of stimulation.  The benefits of infant stimulation are many - read any article on prenatal development and you will learn that baby development after birth is directly impacted by what happens in the day by day pregnancy.

Image source: gosublogger.comCan't hardly believe that Danica McKellar is pregnant!  Danica McKellar is best known for her role as Winnie in The Wonder Years.  Danica McKellar married composer Mike Verta last year, and now they are pregnant!

According to the article Danica is reading "a lot about parenthood."  The article listed several books she is reading about parenting and what happens after delivery.

Danica will also likely want to know more about what happens BEFORE delivery - in the prenatal period.  The prenatal period is critical to the lifelong learning process of your baby.  Using the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System - a simple, safe set of sounds based on the mother's heartbeat - while pregnant encourages cognitive development.  Danica will find out that learning in the womb is not a new idea - many cultures have believed in and practiced forms of prenatal stimulation for years.

Since this is Danica McKellar's first pregnancy, she will likely read about the stages of fetal development and all the stages through pregnancy.  Being first time parents, Danica and Mike will be encouraged by the many parents who report that using BabyPlus positively impacted the infant sleeping schedule.  BabyPlus parents all over the world report their BabyPlus babies more readily nurse, have increased ability to self-soothe, and have great sleeping habits.

there is no "Mozart Effect"

Wednesday, August 4, 2010 by Cindy Wallander
"Pregnant women everywhere can pull the headset away from their bellies...." begins the article titled "Mozart Effect: A Popular Myth Debunked and Explained" written by Katie Drummond on the site politicsdaily.com.

Her information comes from an article titled "Mozart's Music Does Not Make You Smarter, Mozart's Music Does Not Make You Smarter, Study FindsStudy Finds" from the May 10, 2010 online article at ScienceDaily.

The article at ScienceDaily refers to three University of Vienna researchers who present new findings in the US journal Intelligence suggesting no evidence for specific cognitive enhancements by mere listening to Mozart's music.

This is the reason BabyPlus is so very effective - music and the spoken word are simply too complex for the prenatal child during cognitive development.  BabyPlus is so effective because of the simplicity of the sounds - the maternal heartbeat - used during the development of the fetus.  Your developing baby hears your heartbeat 24/7.  When you play the BabyPlus curriculum your baby hears your heartbeat and then the heartbeat sounds of the BabyPlus and begins comparing and contrasting - thus learning has begun.

We already KNOW this and that is why the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System is so distinctive from classical music for the prenatal months!

speaking of twins....

Thursday, July 22, 2010 by Cindy Wallander
Source: melissadphotography.blogspot.com/We had visitors last week!  Two adorable BabyPlus babies - they are 11 months old already!

As I have mentioned before - there are so many amazing benefit of working at BabyPlus US HQ - including the office visits we get from "our" babies.

They were both so calm and sweet.  Sister was walking - just started!  Brother was not feeling well, yet he was so calm and NOT FUSSY!  We passed them around so we would all get a chance to love on them, and they were perfectly content.

Momma of the twins told us how easy they are to parent.  She raved and raved - and we could see the results right in front of our eyes!

We have had many mothers of twins use the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System who have been very pleased with the results.  They have seen the same benefits (better sleeping, nursing, self soothing, school readiness, etc.) as the mothers of single babies.  Frequently, twins are born early and the mothers of babies who were not full term have seen amazing results.  We have had mothers of premature babies report that their babies are reaching their milestones based on their birth age, as opposed to gestational age.  They have also reported shorter hospital stays when compared to other premature babies.

Doesn't it make sense?

Friday, July 16, 2010 by Cindy Wallander
Attitudes are shifting!  Common sense about the prenatal environment is here!Have a positive impact during pregnancy

Everyone understands the negatives of the prenatal environment on fetal development.  We know that when a woman drinks alcohol during pregnancy, she risks giving birth to a child who will pay the price — in mental and physical deficiencies — for his or her entire life.  Fetal alcohol syndrome will impact a baby physically and developmentally forever.

Have questions? Click hereWhat about the positives?

Doesn't it make sense that if the negatives can impact your child forever, so can the positives?  Everything that is enriching should start early - and early means the critical times in child development - A lifetime of benefits!while you are still pregnant.  Fetal development occurs in stages.  Begin using the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System during your pregnancy  you will benefit your baby's development in profound ways.
