BabyPlus - pregnant mom says research about brain development was the key for her...

"Not a day goes by that someone doesn't mention how amazing and bright they think our 16 month old daughter is or how surprised they are when we tell them her age as they often think she is about 2 years old because of the way she acts. I usually get "she is so petite, how old is she about 2?" When I respond with her actual age, they always say something along the lines of "Wow, I've never seen a child that young act the way she does. I thought she was just small for her age and about 2!" This even comes from people with kids about our daughters age as well.

I would love to say that its just great genes, but I know its a little more than that that gave her that little extra "spark". When I first found out I was pregnant I read tons of books and did tons of research on the Internet about brain development in the womb.
