a BabyPlus story - Part Three - the one-year check-up
At her year checkup was when I was sort of embarrassed. The doctor told me all of these milestones Taylor would be reaching soon…walking, climbing up steps, talking, recognizing mommy and daddy, holding a crayon, well I was embarrassed to say Taylor could do all of those things already. I don’t think she believed me, so she looked at Taylor and said “am I your mommy” and with that Taylor shook her head no and signed “no” to her as well. I got the biggest smile on my face, I was on proud Mama! The doctor just couldn’t believe our first baby could be doing so well. She said you are so lucky, I just smiled knowing that I had a Baby Plus Baby.
