What to Expect When You're Expecting! by babyplusmom101
I cannot wait to have a Mom's Night Out and go see What to Expect When You're Expecting! The movie starts in theaters this Friday. Surely moms everywhere will find the movie is filled with things they can relate to, not to mention many laughs. It would be so neat if Cameron Diaz wears a BabyPlus in the movie. BabyPlus and prenatal education is something all moms should know about. Based on personal experience using BabyPlus, I can say it is an amazing product. Time will tell if I say the same thing about the upcoming chic flick!
Mother’s Day is such a special day, and it brings about so many emotions and dreams. There are mothers around the world who wish, hope, and pray for similar things.
Many mothers with newborns wish for more sleep, and for their baby to sleep throughout the night. Many mothers hope their child will meet and exceed developmental milestones as they grow. Many mothers also pray their child can achieve success in what they set out to do in life.
What if there was a product that could be worn by mothers while their baby develops in utero? Testimonials from mothers who used BabyPlus while pregnant demonstrate that the BabyPlus product can help with these mother wishes, hopes, and dreams.
What if your baby was able to reach developmental milestones earlier? What if he or she showed enhanced intellectual abilities? With BabyPlus, those "what ifs" can turn into realities.
By using the BabyPlus curriculum your baby can experience a multitude of successes (listed below). The BabyPlus system is a series of 16 naturally derived sounds that resemble a mother's heartbeat. The rhythm of the sounds increases incrementally as the pregnancy progresses. The BabyPlus sonic pattern introduces your child to a sequential learning process, built upon the natural rhythms of their own environment. This "auditory exercise" strengthens learning ability during the developmental period when the advantages will be most significant and enduring for a child. BabyPlus is the first educational tool designed for prenatal use that has been proven effective.
For years the epic debate has been breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding. Which is better? Well, they each have their pros and cons. It's our belief that every woman does what is right for herself and her baby. BabyPlus realizes that each person may think differently on the subject so we're bringing you a list of advantages and disadvantages of each. Again, this is a very personal decision each woman has to make, so never feel pressured one way or the other.

If you haven't heard the latest celebrity gossip, it's very good news. Reese Witherspoon is pregnant again! Veteran mom, Reese, has two children ages 12 and 8. Could this actress, professional mom and all-around incredible woman be the next BabyPlus mom? Well, even if she's not, she certainly is BabyPlus momma material.
Reese is a smart woman and would benefit from all that BabyPlus can offer. This includes:
BabyPlus® parents report babies at birth and infancy:
With Jessica Simpson nearing her due date, we hope she's been using BabyPlus. Even for a busy girl like Jessica, the benefits a re incredible. So what if she was using BabyPlus? She might see some of the following benifits:
Start nursing earlier and learn to latch faster
Show increased ability to self-soothe
Are more responsive and interactive
Are more relaxed and alert at birth
Many of our parents will tell you that using our system will do just that. Don't believe us, see for yourself. Until next time...good luck Jess!
You might have seen the love that Target shoppers are giving us, but did you know that Amazon shoppers are also showing their support for BabyPlus. Out of 140 different user reviews, BabyPlus has received 4 out of 5 stars! This is incredible and we want to share what these BabyPlus moms and dads are saying about using the system.
Here's a few reviews for you to feast your eyes on:
Our son is almost 2 year old. When we got baby plus years ago we purchased it knowing we would use exactly as described. Meaning following the directions to the T. My wife did not miss any sessions and used it religiousely. We used it as soon as we could while she was pregnant. The end result is one super happy, polite and sweet baby. Seriousely. Our son is always happy, rarely throws tantrums even though he is approaching two and is very polite. He is not hyperactive. He loves to have fun, but can be perfectly content sitting down reading a book by himself. Maybe baby plus had nothing to do with how he is...we will never know. But I would reocmmend any pregnant female to pay the $$ and use this ASAP. Think of it as an investement in your baby's future...Read the rest on Amazon.com.
We were recommended BabyPlus by a colleague of my husband's who also works in neurobiology. We thought we would give it a shot and after plenty of teasing (+20wks) from family members, our son was born after a prolonged labor and c-section. The OBGYN commented on how alert and calm he was as she was bringing him into this world. 18 hours later, the vice president of the local medical school visited and made the comment that he was the most alert newborn he had seen and appeared shocked! Both of these opinions were reassuring of our choice to use BabyPlus, but the real pleasure is a child that is calm, sleeps well, nurses well and is alert and reaching developmental goals at an accelerated speed. In our experience, BabyPlus worked and we are very satisfied. After reading some of the negative reviews, I wanted to point out to people who may be worried about the volume of the device damaging their child's hearing- your baby's cry will easily be 100+dB once he is born. A sound that is 50-60dB once it reaches your child in utero cannot damage their hearing. It may sound loud to you, but once it passes through tissue and fluid, the sound is considerably lower in volume...Read the rest on Amazon.com.
Did you know that BabyPlus is sold at Target? It looks like we're very popular because they're currently sold out online. Don't fret, you can buy BabyPlus on our website! Target shoppers are giving us 5 stars and here's why:
A Mom's Perspective:
I have used BabyPlus with all 4 of my children. I consider it to be as important as a prenatal vitamin. Right now, my 6 week old is sleeping through the night (meaning 9 hours). Who wouldn't want that? I can truly say that I have seen the benefits of BabyPlus first hand. My babies are happy and awesome sleepers and nappers. It is a great way to give your baby a start in life.
A Dad's Review:
My wife used BabyPlus for roughly the last 16 weeks of her pregnancy. On our first doctor's visit both the nurse and doctor commented on how alert our baby was. They both mentioned that at only a few days old she was as alert as a baby who was 3 or 4 weeks old. We have noticed that our baby is very alert, focuses a lot of attention on us, follows us with her eyes as we move around, and looks at us as though she is really studying us. Overall BabyPlus is a really cool gaget that has shown some i mmediate results for a baby who is less than 2 months old.
A few months ago, Niki Taylor was on ABC's The Doctors sharing her experiences using BabyPlus. For those of you who missed this interview, we wanted to share it with you!
Last week, we asked our BabyPlus momma's and pappa's what word or words they would use to describe the BabyPlus system. We had such wonderful responses that we thought that it would be fun to share them with you! So, here are the words and phrases our BabyPlus users came up with:
Loves learning!
Very alert.....says the nurses, she was born on Sunday!
Smart and Entertaining!
I have 3! The two older ones are smart and independent. The one month old is alert and calm.
Alert and inquisitive
Content and Happy
My 2 yr old twins are very Smart & inquisitive
Adventurous & intelligent

We are aware of some of those rumors that fly around about the noise level of BabyPlus. The truth is, BabyPlus is completely safe! There is no question that this is an entirely new field of education, but prenatal stimulation has been around for thousands of years. BabyPlus simply represents the evolution of enrichment in the womb to a technique that has incredible advantages for the child. We believe that, someday, the use of BabyPlus will be as much a part of being pregnant as is taking prenatal vitamins. As you can see below, BabyPlus sound about the same as hearing traffic swirling around you when your in your car. Questions? Contact us at customerservice@babyplus.com.
Decibel (dB) Ratings and Hazardous Time Exposures of Common Noises
Typical Decibel
Example of Sounds
0
Lowest sound audible to the human ear
10
Normal breathing
20
Whispering at 5 feet
30
Quiet library, soft whisper
40
Living room, quiet office, bedroom away from traffic
50
Light traffic at a distance, refrigerator, gentle breeze
45-60
BabyPlus when it reaches the prenatal child through the maternal abdomen
60
Air conditioner at 20 feet, conversation, sewing machine
70
Busy traffic, office tabulator, noisy restaurant. At this decibel level, noise may begin to affect your hearing if you're exposed to it constantly
The Hazardous Zone
80
Subway, heavy city traffic, alarm clock at two feet, motorboats 85 to 115 dBA, factory noise. These noises are dangerous if you are exposed to them for more than eight hours.
90
Truck traffic, motorcycles 95 to 120 dBA, snowmobiles 99 dBA, noisy home appliances, shop tools, lawn mower. As loudness increases, the “safe” time exposure decreases; damage can occur in less than eight hours.
95
The womb's continuous maternal blood pulse sound level
100
Chain saw, stereo headphones 105 to 120 dBA, pneumatic drill. Even two hours of exposure can be dangerous at 100 dBA, and with each 5 dBA increase, the “safe time” is cut in half.
110
Video arcades can be this high.
120
Rock band concert in front of speakers, health clubs, aerobic studios, sandblasting, movie theaters measured up to 118 dBA, sporting events up to 127 dBA, thunderclap. The danger is immediate: at 120 dBA exposure can injure your ears.
130
Children's toys that emit sounds many at 135 to 150 dBA, percussion section at symphony, stock car races, jackhammer, power drill
140
Gunshot 150 to 167 dBA, air plane taking off, “Boom Cars” 140 dBA and beyond, bicycle horn. Any length of exposure time is dangerous; noise at 140 dB may cause actual pain in the ear.
150
Jet engine taking off, firecrackers range from 125 to 155 dBA at an average distance of 10 feet, cap gun, balloon pop
160
fireworks (at 3 feet), rifle shot, handgun
170
Shotgun
180
Rocket launching pad. Without ear protection, noise at this level causes irreversible damage: hearing loss is inevitable.

Is it just me, or does it seem that when summer rolls around everyone is having babies? Nope, it's not just me, it's a fact. Almost four million babies are born in the United States each year, and interestingly, a higher number of them are born during warm weather. According to the Centers For Disease Control, more babies arrive in the summer than any other season, and July, August, and September are the most common months. With so many babies being born in July and August, we need to go back nine months to when the babies were conceived. This means that full-term babies born in the summer were conceived during the winter months Some anthropologists theorize that more babies are conceived during the winter because that’s when people spend more time together indoors.
With that said, are any of our BabyPlus fans expecting this summer? If so, we'd love to know your due date. Please share with us on www.facebook.com/BabyPlusUSA.
If you are expecting, now might be the time to start thinking about using BabyPlus as well!
We often get questions from parents about delivering during the winter. If you are due in the next month or two, it looks like you have a winter baby on your hands. You will just want to help you prepare:

It's January, there's no where to go, you're stuck inside and it's cold. The good news is your expecting and that little bundle of joy is what helps you see the bright light at the end of the cold wintery tunnel. Pregnancy during the winter can have it's own challenges. We're here to give you a few suvival tips to get through your winter pregnancy:
Stay Safe: Sorry, no sledding for you this year. Make sure you wear a sturdy pair of boots and ask for help when needed.
Bundle Up: Make sure you wear gloves, heavy coats, scarves and hats to keep you and baby warm.
Hydration is Key: Most people don't think about winter as a time to stay hydrated. However, due to the extremely dry air, it's just as important to consume that H2O during the winter months as the summer months.
Stay tuned for our Surviving Winter Pregnancy Part 2. Until then, best wishes from BabyPlus!
It's still January which means we are barely half way to spring. You are a number of months into your pregnancy and ready to get out of the house and start enjoying nice weather again. In our last segment, we gave you three tips on surviving the long winter months while pregnant. We're back to give you a few more:
Exercise: This may sound like the last thing you want to do, but a long walk (be careful if it's snowing or icy) could be the perfect solution to get your blood flowing and feeling "normal" again.
Eat Healthy: Eating healthy can be tricky with all the rich winter stews and heavy cheese filled casseroles. However, by maintaining a healthy diet, you will feel more energized throughout the cold winter months.
Pamper Yourself: By getting pedicures or massages, they can not only help your circulation but also boost your mood.

Each day we receive amazing testimonails from loving BabyPlus parents on our Facebook page. It is so wonderful to hear how these little lives are making it in this big world. Here's just one example from a BabyPlus mom:
BabyPlus is AMAZING! Our daughter Aubrey is so bright and such a fast learner. By one she was saying her name, breakfast, puzzle, all sorts of words. She is 17 months now and can count to 10, can say a,b,c,d,e.. She knows so many words I wouldn't know where to begin. Aubrey tells us when she's hungry, what she wants, when she needs to go potty and so much more. I am so proud of her and so thankful I choose BabyPlus. I will definitely use it again!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
We are happy to bring you yet another testimonial from our Facebook page. Parents all over the world are bragging about what BabyPlus has done for their little ones. Here's a testimonial from one of our most loyal fans, Dawn:
"Ms. Lily is officially two weeks old today :-) Our Second Baby Plus Baby in our Family... So far when she is awake, she is already tying to hold her head up, fully alert & smiling. She also doesn't mind tummy time, nurses up to 4 ounces and is sleeping 4 and a half hours between feedings (which means at night she eats at 11pm, 3:30am and 7:30am- dropping one of her night feeding last week...yay). Thank you BabyPlus!"
Movie Star, Jennifer Garner, and her husband, actor Ben Affleck, are expecting their third child together. These two might be parenting pros by now, but still could stand to know more about BabyPlus.
The former Alias actress knows about prenatal learning and educating her baby in the womb.
These busy parents may not know about all the wonderful benefits BabyPlus Prenatal Education System can provide. However, we should inform them along with our other readers. BabyPlus is also easy to use, even for the busiest of celebrity parent. BabyPlus congratulates Jennifer and Ben!
Congratulations to BabyPlus mommy, Dawn, and her newest edition. Their daughter was born November 23, 2011, just in time for Thanksgiving!
Dawn told us that, "All the doctors and nurses LOVED her and comment on how sweet, alert and calm she was. She nursed right away and not yet been fussy. Less than 24 hours after being born, she was already starting to hold her head up as well as focusing on sounds and faces. Just like her sister, BOTH are BabyPlus Babies :-) Thank you Baby Plus!!!"
Thank you Dawn for using BabyPlus and sharing your adorable little miracle with the world!
