A special ceremony was held at the White House today as the US celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing.

I am always proud and inspired on these days when Americans can honor a great achievement.

The crew of the Apollo 11 - Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins - urged mankind to make a renewed effort to land on Mars.

Great achievements in any field should be remembered and celebrated - that is what makes our country strong!
