Another BabyPlus Customer Service Question…

Working in Customer Service, I sometimes see a trend in questions asked.  A recent question asked several times is if you have to be still while using BabyPlus.  Moms are quite relieved to learn that you can go about your daily routine during your lessons.  We have moms using it while getting ready in the morning, eating breakfast or during their commute to work.  Outside sounds will not impact the usage or interfere with the lessons. It’s exciting to let […] Read more »

The Year of the Ox

According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2009 is the year of the Ox! What does this mean exactly?  Well, the ox (a cow or buffalo may be used) symbolizes prosperity through fortitude and hard work.  Those born under the influence of the Ox or Buffalo are fortunate to be stable and persevering.  The typical Ox is a tolerant person with strong character. Even though we don’t celebrate these types of holidays here in the United States, we know many of “our” parents do […] Read more »

BabyPlus and Katie Holmes

BabyPlus and Katie Holmes? Well, in my opinion, yes, obviously! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes seem to know quite a bit about children and education.  I am wondering, however, if they have ever heard of prenatal education.  One would tend to believe that with the many articles available about prenatal development, early cognitive development, critical periods in fetal development, and the benefits of learning in the womb using the patented heartbeat sounds of the BabyPlus Prenatal Education System, that they would […] Read more »

It’s funny how certain things slip into mainstream thinking.  I just wasn’t so sure about the whole idea of texting when it started.   I always thought it was just easier to pick up the phone or email.  Then, a promotion with my cell phone lured me into the world of abbreviations and quick messaging.  Before long, I was using texting lingo like a pro even though my speed still needs work.  The simplified phrases broken down to basics sure makes […] Read more »

BabyPlus — Looking Back at 2008

I previously wrote about BabyPlus’ 2008 year in review.  Now, I want to share my own reflections even though 2008 seems to have flown by faster than I would have liked! I now have two “double digit” sons, as they like to say.  That hardly seems possible because I’m only 16 (in my head!)  When did all of that happen?  I must say that they are the light of my life and even though there are days I don’t think […] Read more »

Anticipation Is Half The Fun!

Ah, the day after Christmas and time for my Friday Fun Blog.  No talk about prenatal curriculum, fetal development, or prenatal learning in the womb.  Just my thoughts on life and the world around me. This morning when I walked downstairs, the reminders of yesterday still lay all over the living room.  As I drove to work, I was bummed that I had been planning and planning and it was over.  It’s like weddings.  You plan and plan, organize and make lists […] Read more »

Be Prepared For The Unexpected

I know this blog isn’t about prenatal curriculum or fetal stages of development or even the benefits of using BabyPlus.  I’m just going to write about everyday life. It’s interesting to see people’s reactions when there is the threat of severe weather, especially snow and ice storms.  The grocery stores are packed with people stocking up on supplies, gas stations have constant flow of people filling up their gas tanks, and everyone anxiously watches the weather to time their commutes […] Read more »

BabyPlus – a gadget?

BabyPlus was in an Australian paper –  the Sydney Morning Herald – and a few other news stories.  We are in an article on “gadgets.” We are sometimes referred to as a “gadget.”  The definition of a gadget is a device or control that is very useful for a particular job.  The BabyPlus is very useful for using the mother’s heartbeat sounds during the critical period of fetal development.    So, in this sense, I guess our system could be a […] Read more »

What makes BabyPlus different and better than other prenatal products? – Part 2

What makes BabyPlus different and better than other prenatal products? – Part 2 The fourth difference is the ability to actually bond with your baby while pregnant.  The bonding experience is so neat – your baby may anticipate the lessons and might even begin to move or kick when the time for his or her lesson is about to begin.  We have had parents report that in such an awestruck way!   The fifth difference is is the proven track record […] Read more »
